The Entrance Bridge ( Marine and Civil Maintenance)

In March 2015 Barges Australia supplied 12.2m Steel Pontoons to Marine and Civil Maintenance for the repair works to the 467m long Entrance Bridge which spans the Tuggerah Lakes in NSW.

The works included concrete repairs and application of a protective coating to the underside of the bridge, the work was performed from scaffolding which was placed on the 12.2m Steel Pontoons which were moved along the bridge progressively.

Work on some sections was performed directly from the barge in the water.

The pontoons were also used to encapsulate the work area to stop debris falling into the water.
